本团队针对当前我国小麦生产中面临的突出问题,主要从事小麦茎基腐病、纹枯病、低温抗性、株型、面粉加工品质等相关的重要功能基因挖掘及分子育种工作,旨在为我国小麦分子育种领域提供重要基因和品种资源以及相应技术支撑。近年来,团队在PNAS、Nature Communications、Science Advances、Science Bulletin、Advanced Science、Journal of Integrative Plant Biology、Plant Biotechnology Journal、Journal of Advanced Research等国际知名期刊上发表高水平研究论文160余篇;主持国家重点计划战略性国际合作重点专项和政府间国际合作重点专项、国家自然基金国际合作研究项目和区域创新重点项目等国家级项目20余项,其中国家级重点项目7项;授权国际发明专利1项,国家发明专利23项;培育出豫农268、269等系列新品种;团队牵头研发的小麦高密度基因芯片、克隆基因TaRD21A、审定品种豫农268均进行了转让,累计转化金额2680万元;获得科技成果奖励7项,其中主持河南省科技进步一等奖1项、河南省科技进步二等奖2项、河南省自然科学奖二等奖1项;团队带头人陈锋教授入选国家万人计划领军人才、国务院政府特殊津贴等。
